The purpose of the leader project was to create conditions for the development of the Åker countryside through organized, strategic work for the development of services and infrastructure. The goal of the project was to compile the needs of businesses and the population for services and infrastructure and to develop an action plan for implementation in collaboration with relevant stakeholders in the countryside and the municipality. The objective was also to initiate work based on the action plan that is developed.
