Conditions and selection criteria

Each project must meet all basic conditions and selection criteria. All applications are assessed by the board.

The projects are assessed by the board

All projects that apply for funding from Leader Södermanland will be assessed and prioritized by our board. The first thing they assess is whether our absolute basic conditions and overarching principles are met. If all of these conditions are met, the application will proceed to a scoring assessment based on our selection criteria.

An indicator is a measurement tool to assess how well we are working towards our goals. Each leader area has a set of indicators that we must meet and therefore our projects must also meet these indicators. Read more here.

Scoring

Each focus area has its own set of selection criteria and also some that are common to all focus areas.

Pre-studies are scored based on specific selection criteria regardless of which focus area the pre-study falls within. Pre-studies must also meet our absolute basic conditions to proceed to scoring.

Prioritization

If we receive more applications than we have funds for at each assessment, each project is assessed individually and then weighted based on the number of points.

Applications may be competitive and the project with the highest score will be prioritized. Each focus area has a minimum score that must be met to be prioritized.
