Four steps to your project
Follow the steps below when you want to apply for funding from Leader Södermanland.
Step 1
Get started
A successful project is based on local conditions and the driving forces that exist in the place. Therefore, start by anchoring the idea and talking to others. Is there a need for the project to be implemented?
At this early stage, you also need to read up on Leader Södermanland's principles, goals and areas of focus in our strategy.
Step 2
Test the idea
Once you have a clear idea, you can test it here on our website. This will give you quick feedback on whether it is something you need to think about further. You will also get an indication of which support suits you best.
Now is also the time for you to contact us at the leader office.
Step 3
Project idea submission
In consultation with our project coach, it is now time to write an expression of interest, a so-called project idea. Our leadership office reads through it, provides feedback and makes an initial assessment of whether the idea is eligible for project support.
Step 4
Application
If the Leader office determines that the expression of interest is a prerequisite for granting support, it is now time to apply to the Swedish Board of Agriculture. Our project coach will help you through the process.
Once the application is complete, it's time to keep your fingers crossed! The board makes decisions on prioritization at regular intervals. You can see the dates of the meetings in the calendar. As soon as the decision is made, we will contact you to tell you how it went.
