The project is a feasibility study that aims to develop Forssagården into a central meeting place. An inclusive, diverse and long-term sustainable meeting place with activities for residents of all ages, including culture, community life, wellness, youth activities and crisis preparedness. The entire community will be involved in the work, such as associations, the church, hunting teams, residents and the growing number of seasonal and weekend residents.
The project is a feasibility study that will develop The work aims to create an inclusive, diverse and long-term sustainable meeting place with activities for residents of all ages, including culture, community life, wellness, youth activities and crisis preparedness. The goal is to develop a complete action plan for continued development.
The project owner is Forssa Idrottsklubb, which collaborates with Vadsbro IF, Flens IF, Vadsbro-Blacksta föreningsgård, Husby-Oppunda parish association, Lids parish association, Coompanion, RF SISU, Studieförbundet Vuxenskolan, MCF, the church, the hunting team and the local population.
–We are particularly interested in exploring new activities that can fit into the local community, including remote workplaces, community services, outdoor gyms, cultural events, youth activities, courses in crafts and farming, outdoor worship services, community meetings, movie nights to promote dialogue and community.
After the feasibility study has been completed, a step-by-step implementation phase with various sub-projects will be presented, showing where we want to be within the next few years.
