Mellösaverken is a former ruler factory that is now a place for housing, studios, workshops and cultivation. By using one of the premises in the property, the project owners want to build a stronger ”community” around the building in the village. The Leader project aimed to rebuild a premises into an activity cluster, a space for engagement and knowledge transfer. The premises were named ”Tumstocken”. The focus was on food processing and culture, and when necessary, the premises were used for other areas such as a meeting room for associations, lectures, study groups and a pop-up shop.
