Engines and jaws
About the project
The leader project Motors and Jaws aimed to include young people in the social structure, increase security and strengthen the community in Nykvarn by promoting and taking advantage of their interest in motors. The idea behind Motors and Jaws was born from the young people's own demand and desire. Through engaging conversations about what was missing and what could benefit society, this inspiring idea emerged. The project owners, Turinge-Taxinge parish, met and talked with the motorized young people about their ideas and dreams, about what could be possible to implement together. Then the idea was born to create a meeting place for young people with an interest in motors in Nykvarn, where they could meet, chat, exchange ideas and receive support.
The project's goal was also to carry out inspiring activities and training, as well as to start networks and collaboration between different actors and young people in Nykvarn. The result was a dynamic and positive movement where the young people felt involved and seen. The project created a strong community that contributed to a safer and more cohesive society. Motorer och kjäk became not only a meeting place, but a place where dreams were brought to life and where every young person had the opportunity to grow and develop.
