Project update June 2026 – Nature Trail Osprey Farm Studio

The work on the Nature Trail continues forward with a focus on biodiversity, nature experiences, and local history. During the spring of 2026, planning for signs, markings, and informational materials has been carried out while the new sand beds are already attracting many insects and pollinators.

The planted plants from 2025, including pasque flower, wild thyme, and sand pink, have established themselves well. The Nature Trail has also received its first artistic feature – an osprey in oak, created by the sculptor Johan Karlsson from Strängnäs.

The project group is now planning for the inauguration of the Nature Trail on the Day of Biological Diversity on May 22, 2027. The area's high natural and cultural values continue to be highlighted through inventories of old oaks, wetlands, and ancient remains along the trail.
