Sörmland – an apple landscape

The Leader project, Sörmland – an apple landscape, aimed to contribute to sustainable food production by developing the cultivation and processing of fruit into a profitable branch of the green industries in Sörmland. The goal was to increase the number of growers and processors of fruit and to increase the number of fruit trees planted in Sörmland by creating the conditions for a successful investment in the cultivation and processing of fruit in the area. The project owner was the Sörmlandsäpplen Association.
