Development of Julita Farm – world heritage-class cultural environments

The leader project Development of Julita Gård – cultural environments of world-class was a business support and part of the extensive work to develop Julita Gård as an attractive destination. The project owners, the Foundation Nordic Museum, explored the possibilities for Julita Gård to become a World Heritage Site. Through this leader project, they aimed to identify and preserve the traces that remained in today's landscape and highlight its cultural-historical values with the help of a thorough landscape analysis.

The purpose was to highlight the rich history that characterized Julita Gård and to create awareness of its significance. The goal was to conduct a detailed landscape analysis of the historical agricultural land, which would provide insights into the area's unique cultural heritage and contribute to strengthening its position as a significant cultural environment.
