Exhibition Axel Oxenstierna

The Leader project aimed to contribute to an increased number of visitors/tourists in the surrounding area, Eskilstuna municipality and the Mälardalen Valley. The goal was to create an exhibition about former Chancellor Axel Oxenstierna in Jäders church stables, in the Kafjärden parish. The project owner was the association Kunskapsturism i Kafjärden. Through Axel Oxenstierna's life, his upbringing in the area, the construction of Fiholm Castle and Jäders church, the visitor also gains knowledge about Sweden's history and its time as a great power. In addition, a destination that is of national interest can contribute to other activities in the tourism industry gaining increased opportunities for their various activities.
