Our indicators
To qualify for leader support, projects must contribute to EU goals as well as goals at the national and local level. We call this indicators.
What is an indicator?
An indicator is a measurement tool to assess how well we are working towards our goals. Each leader area has a set of indicators that we must meet, and thus our projects must also meet these indicators. Each project does not need to meet all indicators.
Leader Södermanland can carry out calls for proposals or create umbrella projects if we see that we need extra efforts to achieve any of our goals.
Indicators for our goals
The projects we can provide funding for must meet at least one of these four indicators:
Growth and employment in rural areas
Develop the economy in rural areas
Environmental/climate-related performance through investments in rural areas
Linking rural areas in Europe
In addition, projects that we provide funding for must meet a couple of these indicators:
New products (goods)
New services
New leisure and cultural activities
New networks and collaborations
New day visitors
Developed internships
New service solutions
New transport solutions
Diversified businesses
Businesses that collaborate
New methods, working practices, or processes
Businesses that benefit from shorter food chains
Organizations that implement measures to reduce climate impact
New solutions to environmental and climate problems
New housing solutions
